What is E-Design and is it for you?

What is E-Design?

So, you’ve seen my Insta and Pinterest posts and made it to my site, but still don’t have a clue what E-Design actually is. The term ‘E-Design’ - you may have heard it thrown around here and there, is basically virtual/remote/online interior design (you choose!)

It is a convenient, more affordable and much quicker way to design your space with the help of an online interior designer. We can achieve so much in a virtual realm nowadays, why not add home decorating as well?

It doesn’t come without a bit of homework, however. E-Design is a collaboration between you and I; you are required to provide details and images of your space in order for me to get creative and design two digital rooms to your style.

Once we have agreed on a final design from the two initial concepts, I will provide you with:

  • A final concept board so you can ‘see’ what the space will look like

  • A layout plan to ensure everything fits and flows in your space

  • A clickable shopping list

  • And an installation guide with detailed instructions on how to ‘Style your Space’ like a pro.

The benefits of using an E-Designer?

  1. I won’t come to your home - and in today’s climate of COVID - I’m sure that's a relief! All of the communication is done by phone, zoom or email, giving you more time to binge watch your favourite TV shows.

  2. It’s a whole lot cheaper than traditional full service design. For a flat fee of just £200 per room, you will get a personalised ‘Styling Spaces’ room design delivered straight to your inbox. Now, this doesn't mean you're getting a lesser quality design. It simply means that you're not paying me to do all any of the additional tasks like picking materials, meeting with contractors, visiting site and unpacking boxes that traditional full service designers do.

  3. Source overwhelm! (Yes, it’s a thing!) With the accessibility of online shopping, comes an abundance of choice. It can be overwhelming for many who find making interior decisions difficult. Why not work with a professional designer to remove that stress?

  4. Location - you could be ANYWHERE and I will be able to help. Don't let geography be a barrier to good home design.

  5. It saves time. Most projects, depending on how many spaces you are having designed,  are delivered to you within three-four weeks of our initial consultation. Then it is up to you, how long you take to make the design a reality.

Is E-Design for you?

E-Design isn’t for everybody, however, if you know what you like but need a little guidance, then YES, I can help you.

If you’re up for doing a little graft - measuring, photographing your space and installing your final design - then YES, give me a call.

If you’re able to articulate through the questionnaire, consultation and inspiration images the kind of things you like, then YES, drop me an email.

And if you want a design plan in place but don’t have time to scour websites and trawl shops to source furnishings, then YES, get in touch with me here.

I would love to help you.
